Step 1: Draw the Head
Start by drawing a neat circle in the center of your page. This circle will be the dragonfly’s cute little head, so try to keep the shape nice and round.

Inside the circle, draw two small round eyes and a tiny curved smile in the middle. Keep the shapes simple to give your dragonfly a cute and friendly expression.
Step 3: Draw the Antennae
On top of the head, draw two curved antennae. Let the ends curl into small spirals to give your dragonfly a cute and playful look.
Step 4: Draw the First Body Segment
Under the head, draw a rounded U-shaped form to create the first part of the dragonfly’s body. Keep the lines smooth and slightly wide so it connects nicely to the head.
Step 5: Add the Next Body Segment
Draw another rounded segment right below the first one. Keep it similar in shape but slightly smaller to start forming the dragonfly’s long body.
Step 6: Draw Another Body Segment
Add another rounded segment under the body. Keep the shape slightly smaller than the one above so the body gradually tapers downward.
Step 7: Continue the Body
Draw one more rounded segment under the previous one. Keep the same soft shape so the dragonfly’s body looks smooth and evenly segmented.
Step 8: Draw the Last Body Segment
Add a small rounded segment at the bottom to finish the dragonfly’s body. Make this one slightly smaller to create a gentle tapered end.
Step 9: Draw the Top Wings
On both sides of the head, draw two long oval shapes for the top wings. Keep them wide and slightly rounded to give your dragonfly soft and cute wings.
Step 10: Draw the Bottom Wings
Under the top wings, draw two smaller oval shapes to create the bottom wings. Try to follow the same curve so the wings look balanced on both sides.
